RLCDs are different from other displays in that they don't emit light. Instead, they use reflected ambient light to illuminate the display’s image. The brighter the ambient light source, the brighter the display will become.
Because of this key technological difference, visibility is best when the rE Monitor is facing a bright light source, such as a sunny window. Any small changes you can do to increase the amount of ambient light in the room will be of benefit.
